Hi im Fran, a BACP-accredited counsellor supporting adults and young people aged 16 and over, working remotely across the UK.
This is a confidential, nurturing space to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, gain perspective, and navigate lifes challenges with support and understanding.
About me and my practice
You may be carrying too much emotionally, physically, or mentally. Burnout, caring responsibilities, health changes, or uncertainty about identity and self-worth can all feel overwhelming.
I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities. Im a committed ally to LGBTQIA+ communities and work with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. I also support clients living with chronic illness, disability, or sight loss.
As a Black British Caribbean woman with lived experience of health challenges, I bring both professional training and personal understanding. I know that difficulties can affect not only wellbeing but also identity and belonging. My work focuses on helping you reconnect with your strengths and values.
Sessions provide space to speak openly without judgement. We may explore patterns in relationships, unhelpful thinking, or the influence of past experiences, including the impact of trauma. We move at your pace, allowing time to reflect and build coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable. Whether youre coping with loss, adjusting after bereavement, or navigating major life transitions, our work can begin from uncertainty. My aim is for you to feel understood and equipped to make meaningful change.
Experience
Im a trauma-informed integrative counsellor, offering both brief and open-ended talking therapy. My approach is rooted in Person-Centred therapy and draws from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), gestalt and transactional analysis methods, adapted to individual need.
I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and related emotional challenges.
My lived experience with a sensory impairment informs a compassionate, client-centred perspective that values autonomy and accessibility.
